One of the keys to a great Twitter presence is varying your tweets. If you never surprise your fans with different content, then how do you expect them to spread your message? Below are 10 easy messaging tactics to get your fans to share on Twitter:
1. Empathize with your fans.

8. Use humor (know your audience, know the tone that resonates, know the right moments).

— LA Kings (@LAKings) October 8, 2013
9. Give more than a box score.

10. Choose your words wisely (use conversational language that resonates).

Of course, there is not a “one size fits all” approach to what works on social media. The key lies in knowing your audience and understanding what resonates with them. Still, I think there’s value in trying new things and stepping outside your comfort zone. So what’s my challenge to you? Try something new from the list above!
